Wilderness & Trails
You can hike or run on numerous nearby trails. Or grab your mountain bike & follow the Gasquet Toll Road to the "Wimer" Historic Road for a beautiful ride to O'Brien, Oregon. Contact us, or call the Gasquet USFS Station 707.457-3131 for maps and directions.

Salmon & Steelhead Fishing
Famous Smith River salmon & steelhead fishing available throughout the fall and winter.

Fishing begins just outside the Lodge doors and continues to the river mouth. Cutthroat trout fishing is available throughout summer.

Ocean fishing is only 25 miles to the west in Crescent City or 38 miles northwest to Brookings, Oregon.

The latest fishing information & economical fish storage are both available at the Lodge.

Trees of Mystery
Enjoy the premier attraction of the northern California redwoods. Start a family tradition at the "Trees." Don't miss the new Sky Trail 'Gondola' ride or the Indian Artifacts Museum. Enjoy world famous redwoods and Indian artifacts collection.
